Space, comfort and nature
Casa da Guilheta is a spacious beachfront villa with a garden, organic greenhouse and a young orchard where you can enjoy moments of peace and pleasure. Nestled in the coastal and landscape protected area of the Litoral Norte Natural Park, its location allows privileged access to the Ecovia, which connects one of the most beautiful protected areas of mainland Portugal. The natural park stretches over 16 kilometres of coastline between the Rio Neiva and the Rio Cávado and is bordered by countless river and sea beaches as well as reefs, dunes, pine forests, oak forests and lush agricultural areas. You are very welcome!
Windsurfing and kitesurfing
Less than 10 kilometres away are two world-famous hotspots for these sports: in the north, in Viana do Castelo and in the south, in Fão - Esposende.
City tourism (or travelling on business)

Way of St James
The coastal route on the west coast of the Iberian Peninsula of the Camino de Santiago - Portuguese Way - is a World Heritage Site and passes through Guilheta. According to medieval tradition, pilgrims who venerated the relics of the Apostle Santiago Maior received a partial or total remission of the temporal punishment for sins forgiven through confession (indulgence) and could thus even avoid purgatory. The Way of St James, which for many centuries was considered the most westerly place in the known world and therefore the end of the world, has been popularly associated with the Milky Way for centuries because it supposedly points the way to Santiago de Compostela by night. Since the 1980s, the popularity of walking the 'Camino' has grown considerably and has become not only a spiritual but also a cultural route of the first order, travelled by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the year on foot, by bike, on horseback or even on a donkey.

The ground floor can accommodate up to two people with reduced mobility or even in wheelchairs, as the entire area is accessible via a ramp with a gradient of less than 60 cm. The property also has two spacious private garages that allow wheelchair users to get in and out of their car with ease.
