If you looking for entertainment, you don't need to go far though- you can always count on the closeby Estoril Casino for a show, theatre, or musical entertainment.
Estoril is well known for its beaches and sightseeing and paredão (Broadwalk) which makes for a most amazing walk to Cascais at sunset!
The distances from S. Pedro do Estoril to points of cultural and tourist interest are excellent: 20 km to Sintra, 4 km to Cascais, 15 km to Praia do Guincho (great waves!), 25 km to Cabo da Roca (the most western point in Europe), and 25 km to Lisboa. A small supermarket, Minipreço, is only 15 minutes on foot, where you can pick up everything you need.
