Summary: Having stayed at this villa before we noticed despite the price being raised the villa was looking tired and in need of improvement. List as below: Poor quality towels - several of the towels were very thin and a couple ripped on drying body. Poor kitchen supplies - there was not enough crockery and also no glasses that could be used for long drinks around the pool, only easy to topple plastic wine glasses??? Parasols - the poles did not secure in the bases. In fact we only just avoided a major disaster - the wind caught the parasol while one of the party was asleep in the shade and the parasol came down very quickly, spike first just missing her chest. This is totally unacceptable and suggest this is rectified immediately to avoid any further serious accidents. The member of our party was considerably shaken. Having been told the maid would be visiting 3 times a week, when she arrived after the first 4 or 5 days she seemed surprised and said she would come if we wanted her too?? If someone was using the shower, the other bathroom had only a dribble of water again unacceptable we had to shower in turns. On our last day the water went off in the night and we were unable to shower or wash in preparation for the journey home, again unacceptable. Also lots of other small things such as no plug in sink, poor storage in second bedroom and hardly any hangers for clothes, door handles hanging off or loose etc. giving the villa a very tired and uncared for aura. Having stayed in many villas over many years this one disappointed this time and sadly we will not be back nor would we recommend. Our long anticipated and looked forward to holiday was marred by the accommodation which certainly was not the luxury promised.
