Beautiful Jardim Mário Soares Park -- perfect for a stroll on a sunny day – sits on Alvalade's western border. Another local highlight is the Bordalo Pinheiro Museum, a small museum dedicated to the work of this notable Portuguese artist. Alvalade is served by the Green line of the Lisbon Metro as well as several bus lines.
