Positive: Casa da Susy do Alvão is located a little bit out of the way near the small village of Sirarelhos on the edge of the Alvão Natural Park. This is a beautiful area for hiking and relaxing, and due to being remote, it is very peaceful. Susy was very welcoming and was always available to help if I required anything. The apartment remained relatively cool during the day, even when temperatures outside reached 35+

Negative: The roads can be very narrow, with lots of blind turns if you are driving up from the direction of Vila Real
