Summary: We used the accommodation primarily to sleep, shower and have breakfast, which was fine. The swimming pool was also nice, but we only used it once. We slightly underestimated the distance to the centre of Ericeira, as well as any other places of interest, so we ended up renting a car for our entire stay, which allowed us to visit Lisbon, Mafra, Peniche, Cascais and a few other places that are worth seeing. The house is situated in a very nice and quiet area with not much to do. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She was also very responsive, but everything we needed was in the house, so we didn’t really have any reason to get in touch. All in all, we had a great time and loved the peace and quiet in the area, even if it was a little bit too remote for us.
