Positive: For 2 people the place is great. For more, it might be a big problem, we had to move to the other bedroom to get a descent night sleep (due to bad mattress) !! Apart from that, the place is nice, well located - we hiked in trails in the area. we used the washing machine and stove-top (explanations on usage were misleading, but we managed) We found parking in near-by street. View from balcony is great - trees, agriculture fields.. some chickens.. a lot of birds etc. We had our breakfasts there. We ate in a very good restaurant: O Olival (N232, Manteigas, 275 982 354),very nice, regional dishes and a nice cafe: Queijaria Manteigas (Rua 1.º de Maio, 49, 6260-101 Manteigas, 275982016) Both in walking distance from the apt.

Negative: - Mattress of the ground bed-room was terrible, soft & one rolls to the middle.. I could not sleep.. moving to other bedroom (we were only 2 in 5-6 people apt), was the solution. If you come with several people, someone will suffer ! - The only sharp knife was the bread knife.. all others could not cut anything (need sharpening) - Refrigerator is SMALL ! - Tea spoons are only very few, need to be added.

Summary: great for 2 persons, for more it might be a big problem
