We're Auburn parents who love sharing our home-away-from-home at Auburn University! JET'S HANGAR is easy to walk to from any campus event or downtown dinner and shopping. It's in the same convenient location as our other condos (Caddy's Shack and Evie's Endzone), just off of N Gay Street. You just can't beat this location!
GUESTS:
Visit your students and bring their best friend (pup) from home to enjoy our fenced back yard. Or gather alumni for a reunion and tailgate, grill, and relax on the back patio. We love hosting high schoolers and families touring our great school or competing at the facilities on campus. Golfers are also welcome! We're only a 15 minute drive to the famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National. Whatever your reason for visiting Auburn, we'd love to host you!
ARRIVAL:
When you arrive at JET'S HANGAR you park in your own driveway and enter with our secure digital door lock. Our 1200 sq ft offers a fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, and any appliance you may need.
We've found it so nice to roll Toomer's after a big win and then grab food to go and relax at the condo instead of waiting 1-2 hours at a downtown restaurant on game days. Of course, cooking your AU student's favorite meal is always an option too that you just can't do at a hotel.
GATHERING:
The kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open for easy flow, and it's so beautiful to open the double french doors to the back yard on cool nights and enjoy indoor/outdoor living. In the winter, cozy up with the wood burning fireplace in the living room.
SLEEPING:
All of the bedrooms are upstairs, but if you need extra beds, our new sofa has a queen pull out, and we have a queen blow up mattress upstairs also. Smart TVs with Roku are in each bedroom, and in case you do have to work while visiting- the larger bedroom has a full desk and lamp for a quiet work space.
Relax in Bedroom #1 in a new King bed and ceiling fan. Your full bathroom is attached, and all linens are provided.
Bedroom #2 has a new Queen bed, ceiling fan, and a full bath in the hallway.
Should you feel like doing your student's laundry (or your own), use our full sized washer and dryer downstairs in the half bathroom.
AUBURN SPIRIT:
Our 3 kids have all loved their time at Auburn, and we've fallen in love with the town. Game day crowds downtown are fun to experience, but you'll be so glad you can walk home and not have to fight the traffic! Off-season visits to JETS HANGAR are just as special with long walks on campus, in the parks nearby, or slow mornings at local coffee shops like Well Red that are a 5 minute walk away. We've celebrated engagements, weddings, 21st birthdays, graduations, reunions, and lots more at THE HANGAR. Our goal is to make your time there just as memorable as ours has been. We're always available to help and answer any questions.
