The Lazy Turtle Lodge is a beautiful "one of a kind" modern, woodsy but cozy tree house built 12 ft. up (there are 3 sets of stairs and 1 elevator) with a gourmet kitchen overlooking the beautiful spring-fed Santa Fe River. The "Lodge" is on the banks of the River with kayak/boat access to Poe, Rum Island, Gilchrist Blue and Ginnie Springs. Situated on a 10 acre wooded hammock which also houses two outbuildings (a camper and trailer that can be rented as well - neither of which can be seen from the house). With a porch that spans the entire length of the house, you can sit and watch the river go by, watch kayakers paddling by, and tubers floating by. Or you can walk down to the dock and join the fun - swimming, tubing, fishing, or paddling.
