Summary: Monte Falperras is a gem of a place and located in the middle of the beautiful Alentejo region, close to the border with Spain. There are no words to describe the beauty of the views from this stunning property. It's a little piece of heaven, the sound of birds, the views of the Alqueva, the night sky full of stars, the smells of the fruit tress and herbs at your feet. The pool is immaculate and you will never want to leave it once entering. The house itself is a dream to wander around. With its clean lines, neutral colour palette, tasteful decoration, there really is nothing to dislike about this place. The owners have taken great care to create a magical, cosy and comfortable place for guests to stay. I have been here again and again, and always leave wanting to return. If you really want a peaceful holiday where time stops and your mind switches off, then this is the perfect spot to rest. I can't recommend this place enough. Words and photographs don't do it justice, you must visit and see for yourself.
