"Ocean Breeze" Alvor – Arrive and feel right at home: This lovingly furnished retreat offers you all the comforts and amenities you need for a relaxing vacation in the Algarve—one of Portugal’s most beautiful coastal regions. Experience the perfect blend of relaxation and the Portuguese way of life! We’ve fallen in love with the beaches and climate of Alvor—and that love is reflected in every detail of our newly renovated apartment (84 square meters, including two cozy balconies). We’ll be opening our doors to guests in June 2026. Whether you’re working remotely under the palm trees, enjoying a family vacation, or taking a golf trip, you’ll find your “home away from home” here. Here’s what you can expect: The apartment is located within the popular “Vila Marachique” complex, which offers perfect comfort in a well-maintained atmosphere with its spacious, palm-lined garden, a large lake-like pool, and an inviting snack bar. (Open from April through October) Light-filled living and sleeping areas, as well as a modern bathroom with a shower—complemented by a separate guest restroom—offer contemporary living comfort at a high standard. Two balconies: A large balcony with a lounge area and dining table for balmy evenings, as well as a smaller balcony with a cozy seating area and a practical beach box containing cushions, umbrellas, etc. Enjoy the freedom in any weather: Both balconies are equipped with glass panels that can be fully slid to the side as needed. This lets you transform your outdoor space into a cozy sunroom in no time. Top-of-the-line amenities: High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi (ideal for streaming and working from home), air conditioning (cooling/heating) in the bedroom and living area, fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, air fryer, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, ironing board, steam iron, toaster, blender, and much more). “Algarve—love at first sight!” Since 2023, for us as a family of four, there’s only one answer to the vacation question: Alvor. The Vila Marachique resort has become the perfect retreat for us (two 50-year-olds) and our children (ages 13 and 18) to recharge together and enjoy the sun and Portugal’s pleasant Atlantic climate to the fullest. In Alvor and our beloved Vila Marachique, everyday life fades into the distance. Here, where the Atlantic meets Portuguese serenity, we love spending the best time of our year. A true family highlight! For these reasons, we decided in the fall of 2025 to buy and renovate our own apartment. Now we’d like to share “our” vacation bliss with other guests.
Location & Surroundings: Thanks to the ideal location, you’ll have everything you need right nearby. While the supermarket is right across the street, the charming town center of Alvor—just a 20-minute walk away—invites you to explore its culinary delights. Aldi and Lidl are only 3.5 km away. Beach bliss: The Algarve’s stunning beaches are just 1.5 km away. Activities: Renowned golf courses (e.g Pestana Alto Golf) are nearby. A perfect starting point for hikes (Fisherman’s Trail, Seven Hanging Valleys Trail). Accessibility: Just under an hour from Faro Airport; the tourist town of Portimão is 4 km away. Rental Rates (per week), all prices INCLUDE utilities and tourist tax. For rentals of multiple weeks, after the end of a full week: WEEKLY cleaning and laundry service. For LONG-TERM RENTALS of more than 28 days at a special rate, cleaning and laundry service is provided once a month, not weekly.
