Welcome to the Winn Carriage House! The beautifully renovated 1940s carriage house is a 2 bedroom/1 bath located in the heart of the Five Points neighborhood of Athens, Georgia. From the carriage house, both UGA and all of Five Points' shopping and eateries are only a short walk away (e.g Sanford Stadium = 1.6 miles; Foley Baseball Field = 1 mile; and Five Points = .5 miles).

The design and renovation were completed in 2023 by Portico & Hearth, a local historically-minded design firm. Every space in the home was brought up to today's luxurious standards while maximizing the home's historical warmth and charm. With a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom, a private fenced yard including multiple outdoor areas for relaxing and entertaining, Winn Carriage House will be your oasis while staying in Athens, GA. Guests will be welcomed with snacks and drinks, and have access to AVEDA hair and body care products in addition to quality towels and linens during their stay.

The carriage house is pet-friendly, upon approval from the owner.

Please note that the Winn Carriage House has a maximum occupancy of 3 people. If you need more space on property, the separately listed Winn Cottage (3 bedrooms/2 bath) is also available for short-term rental in conjunction with the Carriage House. The property manager is local and is available to assist guests with anything they might need, from restaurant suggestions to fun close-by activities. If you need access to kid or pet-friendly items such as a high chair, baby gate, dog bowls or kennel, please let the property manager know. We'd be happy to facilitate providing those items. Also, a cleaning service can be arranged to come and clean the property during your stay for an additional cleaning fee.

Please note that prior to your reservation approval, you will be required to agree to a "Guest Agreement," which includes, but is not limited to, house rules such as:

(1) No smoking in the home or on the property, which includes vaping, hookahs, e-cigarettes, or any other smoking alternative.
(2) No possession or use of illegal (or legal being used illegally) drugs in the home or on the property, including in your vehicle while parked on the property. Marijuana is not legal in Georgia.
(3) No more than 2 vehicles are allowed on property, unless prior permission is obtained.
(4) No events are allowed on the premises. Events are defined as any occasion that involves people or pets not specifically named in the short-term rental agreement. Specifically, an event is classified as when any more than 4 people not included in the agreement visit the home, or any number of people visit the home for more than 6 hours. Examples of events include, but are not limited to, rehearsal dinners, sporting event parties, family reunions and business meetings.

If any guests or invited persons on the property violate the terms of the Guest Agreement or examples listed above, you may be required to vacate the property immediately and forfeit any right to a refund.
