This open concept cabin is small, but has plenty to offer! There is a living area which provides 2 comfy futons, that fold out into a bed (Sleeper bed dimensions: 71" L x 42" W x 16" H). The kitchen provides a stove (the oven doesn’t work), microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, sink, dishes. The “bedroom” listed is a loft area above the kitchen just for sleeping with a full size mattress (listing says queen bed, because full wasn’t an option, and says bedroom because there wasn’t an option for loft area). Washer and dryer are in the living area. There is 1 bathroom with a standing shower. TV and WiFi access. Outside grill and fire pit. There is also a closed in area with tables that can be used, as well. A wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors in peace and a short distance from several other enjoyable outdoor locations.
Location is 10 minutes from Lake Charles, 15 minutes from Rainey Brake, 10 minutes from Strawberry River access. Full disclosure: Our neighbor does store chicken manure in the field in front of our property. We dont usually notice the smell, but you can smell it occasionally.
