A tastefully furnished first floor apartment accessed by lift or stairs.
On entrance to the left there is a fully equipped kitchen. Microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, oven and hob, washing machine, coffee machine.
On the right is a small lobby leading to a master bedroom/ensuite. Wardrobe and drawers provide plenty of storage. A king size bed with a very comfortable mattress and good linens. Bathroom towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower over bath, vanity sink, toilet and bidet.
The twin room has two single beds, bedside cabinets and wardrobe and dressing table. Again tasteful linens and bathroom towels provided. The bathroom next door has a walk in shower, vanity sink and toilet.
Both bedrooms have mirrors and there is a full length mirror in the hallway.
The lounge diner has a table with six chairs, a glass cabinet holding all necessary crockery and serveware. A comfortable corner sofa, smaller sofa and coffee table is a lovely area to lounge. There is also a television. You can sign into your Netflix etc quite easily. There is also very strong WiFi in the apartment. The aircon is also in the lounge area.
Moving out to the large balcony where you will find seating for 6 and a good size table. Some plants (please feel free to water) add some greenery to the alfresco dining area. The view overlooks the pool which is apparently one of the best in Alvor. The gardens are beautifully maintained and lit at night. A lovely view night or day. The complex is gated so you would need keys to gain access. This means that our beautiful pool area is just for us. Free sunbeds are provided around the pool area. There is a good size baby pool too for the little ones. The main pool has very friendly access. A gentle slope and hand rail to enter if you don’t fancy jumping in :)
The beach and boardwalk are a five minute walk from the apartment as is the lovely town. This apartment is in an excellent location. Car hire would not be necessary. The beach is outstanding and has many beautiful rock formations. The Three Brothers landmark is a lovely 15 minute walk along the boardwalk and well worth visiting. There are supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment ( 2 minute walk).
Alvor has some fantastic restaurants and bars. Very authentic and vibrant. The food is of a very high standard in most but also excellent value. Alvor also has an airfield where many come to use the renowned sky diving centre.
Many people return to Alvor as it’s such a pretty and friendly small fishing town. It’s suitable for families and couples mainly. The Portuguese mostly speak excellent English and are a friendly, welcoming nation.
We have a one bedroom apartment nearby (1 minute walk) that could be available should you wish to extend your holiday to other family members or friends. This is also advertised with VRBO so ask for details should this interest you.
