Positive: We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful house—it really went above and beyond our expectations. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. The place is decorated with so much taste and attention to detail, and it has such a warm, welcoming feel to it. The house is a beautiful and very private retreat. From the outside, it looks like a typical home in a quiet small town, but inside it’s absolutely stunning and modern. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a charming outdoor space with a pool—perfect for enjoying the sunshine. It’s the ideal spot if you’re looking to relax, cook some great meals (either in the gorgeous kitchen or on the outdoor BBQ), and enjoy time by the pool. The garden is peaceful and full of little surprises—like a beautiful cat that sometimes visits, if you're lucky enough to spot it! One of the best parts was how lovely and kind Ana, the host, is. She was always available if we needed anything, super helpful, and just made us feel really at home. She even baked us a cake for our arrival, which was such a thoughtful and sweet touch. Also, the fact that the house is pet-friendly made it even more special for us—we got to spend the week with our golden retriever, who loved it just as much as we did. The house is in a quiet little town, which is perfect if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a car if you’re planning to eat out or explore the nearby areas. While there’s not much within walking distance, the beach is only a 10-minute drive away, and you’re really close to Santa Cruz, Ericeira, and Torres Vedras. There are also some great restaurants just a short drive away, so with a car it’s easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Truly a perfect getaway—we’d go back in a heartbeat!
