Positive: We stayed over the Christmas weekend, and it was an incredibly cozy experience. We loved the rustic house with a gigantic rock doubling as one of the walls, we loved the forested terraced property, the pristine river, and we loved watching the different hues of the mountain, the morning frost, the evening fogs. What an incredible location in the heart of Vinho Verde wine country. Despite a technical problem, the owner and her family came over on Christmas day to try to fix it, and brought us a bottle of sparkling wine, which was above and beyond our expectations. Truly wonderful experience. The kids loved it!

Negative: The bar at the end of the road is a gathering spot for motorcyclist. It gets loud after dark, and engines are sometimes revving way past 2 AM.
