The house was built around a centenarian olive tree that shades the south terrace. It sits atop the slope of a valley that shares its name.
Inside
Villa Barranco Fundo has a single-story design, spanning an interior surface of 230 m2. Its open kitchen, equipped with top-notch appliances, including a cooking island with an induction hob, 2 ovens, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, Quooker hot water tap, juicer, blender, toaster, and all imaginable cooking and table utensils, invites guests to prepare delicious Portuguese dishes. Overlooking the south-facing garden, the dining table accommodates up to 8 people. The villa features a bright and spacious living room connected to the north and south-facing terrace, equipped with a TV with streaming options, Sonos music system, underfloor heating, Domofocus fireplace, and air conditioning throughout.
The hallway features a separate guest toilet with a hand washer. Four roomy bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, storage cupboard, toilet, sink, and shower, are available. The master bathroom features a double sink with storage, a toilet, a walk-in shower, and a bath. Each bedroom is equipped with a 180×200 bed (convertible into twin beds), spacious wardrobes, and all but one with a large sliding window to the outside. All windows are fitted with mosquito netting and exterior blinds that can be opened as needed. All bedrooms feature air conditioning.
Outside
Villa Barranco Fundo features two expansive terraces, one facing south with a large canopy that provides ample shade during the day. The terrace surrounds a magnificent olive tree that inspired the design of the whole house. It includes an outdoor table that seats 8 people and comfortable lounge furniture. The north-facing terrace is more enclosed, with its own set of furniture and a pleasant shade in the afternoon during summer.
The 4.5 x 11m swimming pool is beautifully lit in the evening and located slightly lower on the property, with an adjoining sun terrace and an outdoor shower and toilet. Its unfenced design ensures that guests on the terrace are not constantly disturbed by pool noise.
The villa also boasts a spacious garage that can accommodate up to 2 cars. Additionally, the house is wheelchair accessible through the kitchen door at the back, making it easy for disabled guests to move around.

- The rent is on a weekly basis from Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am from April until the end of October.
