Situated in a peaceful, small village with its own supermarket (selling all daily requirements and more!) and coffee shop. To the other size there is a famous shop called "Atelier do Doce" which people come from far away for the cakes. This is within walking distance. There is a large outside seating area too.
2 Minutes from the motorway - A8 and just 50 minutes to Lisbon airport.
Caldas da Rainha is just 10 minutes away and has a fruit/veg market daily. All the main shops are there, with a large Mall with Cinema.
English movies on local cinema have sub-titles (so you can still watch them if you don't speak Portuguese), based in the La vie Shopping centre
The historic town of Obidos is only15 minutes away with its impressive castle and town walls coupled with the beautiful cobbled streets, plentiful character restaurants and gift shops.
Alcobaca 15 minutes with very large monastery and also Batalha within 30 minutes.
Lisbon downtown can be found within 50 minutes away. With all things you can find in capital city.
