Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This was my second stay at the surfhouse, and I came back after an event nearby with a few extra days to spare. Espinho is such a calm little town, just the right mix of relaxed local life, shops, markets and other things to do, and of course the beach and waves. They offer daily surf lessons for all levels, with good equipment and very fair prices. The surfhouse has such a great vibe; the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and it always seems to attract the nicest mix of travellers. Thank you again - I hope to be back!

Negative: As a pragmatic traveller, the only small improvements I could think of would be a few more hooks in the rooms and bathrooms, maybe a small desk and stool in the single rooms, and slightly lower kitchen tables for more comfortable meals. Nothing major at all, just little things that would make an already lovely stay even more comfortable.

Summary: My second stay - couldn’t ask for a friendlier, more relaxed place to stay
