A lovingly restored farmhouse in a small village with a shady courtyard, balcony, terrace and garden.
Four guest rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs rooms have a double bed, the downstairs rooms a king size bed. One is a family room suitable for 2 adults and a child (plus a travel cot if needed). The rooms are cool in the summer and cosy at other times as we have central heating (pellet boiler). Our dining room/lounge also has a log burning stove.
River beaches for swimming are close by, the nearest is 5 minutes by car. There are places to eat in nearby villages and towns and supermarkets also.
The garden has a terrace for relaxing and a hammock whichnis easier to get into than out of.
The lemon tree terrace catches the sun most of the day and the balcony has a large sofa and table for chilling.
A bbq is available for guests, we can provide charcoal, bring your own food! We can always find room in our fridge for storing food and drinks and can supply plates etc if you need them.
We include breakfast in the price per night. We make our own jams and preserves, yogurt, fresh fruit salad and bread. Eggs come from our neighbour down the lane and some of the cheese is made by a friend in the next village. We use our own organically grown fruit as much as we can and guests can eat in the dining room or help themselves to breakfast and sit outside.
