The Bungalow is part of a quality resort hotel, located in the Natural Park of Pinhal de Ofir, Esposende, Portugal, between the Cávado River estuary (100 meters) and the fantastic dunes of the beach of Ofir.
It is an independent duplex bungalow with approximately 65m2 and suitable for families and / or couples with or without children. There is also an outdoor deck with sun loungers to relax and soak up the sun and enjoy outdoor dining.
On the first floor the Bungalow has a living room and a dining room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, wand and coffee machine. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom with double bed and another bedroom (mezzanine) with two single beds and still a bathroom.
The resort (Hotel Parque do Rio ****) includes a swimming pool (adults and children), outdoor space with an incredible beauty garden, with about 3 hectares for children to play safely. Guests are also able to rent bicycles, table tennis and billiards in the hotel. The main hotel unit is its Papa Amoras restaurant, which serves (at an additional cost), breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Bungalow is located in the wonderful paradise of Pinhal de Ofir, and is in a strategic point to visit the north of Portugal: only 20 minutes from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, 30 minutes from the city center of Porto, 20 minutes from Viana do Castelo , 15 minutes and 20 minutes from Barcelos and Braga and still 40 minutes from the Peneda Gerês National Park.
Located near Esposende (small town but very attractive for visitors) in the region of Minho - Green Coast, where there are available restaurants with typical cuisine of the Minho region, museums, cafes and small shops.
Within 10km radius we can find many different options for various sporting activities: Golf (Estela or Ponte de Lima), mountain, horseriding, hiking and trails, river sports or water activities: windsurfing, kitesurfing, Surfing with two schools of surfing at Ofir Beach (100m away) and Kiteboarding School at Restinga (200m away). There is also an indoor hot-water swimming pool with waves in the City of Esposende.
In the summer and particularly between the months of July and August the city of Esposende has lots of activities and concerts at night.
Bowling, nightclubs (Bib'Ofir and Pacha d'Ofir) and also the Casino of Póvoa.
We should always warn our guests that our Bungalow is inserted in a calm space with several families, very welcoming and that we must always respect the residents. They should pay attention to the noise and respect the standards and regulation of the hotel and the surrounding space. Fire and smoking are not allowed, and appropriate places (for smoking are flagged).
No pets are allowed in the Bungalows and in the hotel space.
A special alert because the Bungalow is inserted in the protected natural reserve area where it is not allowed to make fire and to make garbage and / or throw garbage to the ground is punishable with a fine.
After being inside the complex you can always go on foot to the swimming pool and to the beach which is about 200m away.
In the surrounding area there are huge walkways where you can take a walk with your family. The restinga of the river Cávado offers a walk where we can observe several species of birds, with specific places for the purpose (birdwatching), and still appreciate the biodiversity of the region. On the other side of the restinga the sea and the beach always provide long walks in the morning or at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset.
