This village is very family-friendly and known for it's amazing fresh fish and seafood as it is where the Tagus river meets the ocean. Beaches, shops, restaurants and public transport are on your doorstep.
Going to Lisbon is super easy as the ferry is 300m from the house!
Trafaria has a nice beach, but the best beach can be found in Costa da Caparica, which is 10 minutes by bus or bike (2.4km)
