Positive: Faja Grande is a great base to explore Flores, as it is close to the major natural attractions and yet easily accessible to Santa Cruz and the airport. It is also the Westernmost settlement of Europe :-) Neil is a wonderful host, a gentleman from Edinburgh with excellent communication, and an easy check-in. Gave us some useful advice. The room is built in a beautiful old stone house under his property, and it is fully equipped with everything you may need, including a kitchen, clean and nicely made. Free drinks in the fridge, including alcoholic ones, were very appreciated. While the room itself is small, there's a private pretty garden with a sitting area, to enjoy some wine and cheese when the weather allows. Excellent value for money.

Negative: Truth to be said: the room is small, and particularly the bathroom. It will be adequate for most couples, but for large people it won't be convenient coming out of the shower etc. The wifi is weak. Must park down the road - and walk uphill some 200m.

Summary: Excellent choice if you can squeeze yourself in; great location, high VfM
