Positive: We had the most wonderful time at Quinta Camarena. It is a true hidden gem in Portugal. From the moment we arrived, we could feel how much love, care, and thought has gone into creating this beautiful place. The sustainable concept is not just a feature, but a way of life here. From the delicious, locally sourced food and breakfast to the eco-conscious and thoughtful touches throughout the property. One of the highlights for us was the stunning yoga shala nestled among the trees, a peaceful haven for anyone with a yoga practice. There’s also a well-equipped gym that made it easy to keep up our workouts, surrounded by nature. Just a short 20-minute drive away are some breathtaking beaches, with turquoise waters and golden sand, perfect for a day trip or evening sunset. But what truly sets Quinta Camarena apart is the people. Vera, Cam, and their wonderful team created an atmosphere of warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality that is rare to find. We felt so welcome and cared for during our stay, and that human touch made all the difference. We left feeling deeply impressed by the space they managed to create and of course very recharged, and we can’t wait to return.
