Our 'Quinta' is composed of 2 autonomous units: Casa D'Avó Amélia and Casa do Forno, both with independent entrances. When we restore these 2 units, facing a beautiful inner courtyard, we try to keep its original traces at the end of the XIX century, recovering furniture, keeping it in architectural terms but giving it a comfort compatible with the current time. The existing tank has been remodeled into a small pool where we can cool off on warmer days. Its surrounding a beautiful lawn, with diverse trees, where you can hear birds singing, allows periods of rest and relaxation. It is also a pleasant place for the jokes of the younger ones.
The Casa D'Avó Amelia has 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 single.
The rooms are equipped with double beds, one with window to the street and the other to the garden are pleasant spaces. The single room has a window onto the street.
The large bathroom has a basin, bath, toilet and bidet and outside window. Water heating is done through solar energy. There is also an outside bathroom with toilet and basin, very suitable for those who are in the garden.
The kitchen is modernly equipped with induction hob, electric oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker and another of capsules, magic wand, toaster and electric coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, glasses and crockery.
Its location at the crossroads of the two most important motorways in the country that cross from north to south and from east to west, A1 and A25, with their connections to many others, allow in less than 1 hour the visit to the historic cities of Coimbra , Porto and Viseu in less than 20 minutes to visit the city of Aveiro, so typical for its canals and the boats that cross them, the Moliceiros boats. The wonderful beaches of the region, Barra, Costa Nova, Torreira and the natural phenomenon of our region, the famous Ria de Aveiro, with all its diversity of flora and fauna are also less than 30 minutes away. In the Ria de Aveiro it is possible to practice various water sports, sailing or ki-surfing, among others. The walkways that surround it allow the use of the bicycle to appreciate all its nooks and crannies.
