Summary: Pedro who is host was very kind and nice. Hotel condition is a little bit old, but the room size and facility was not bad. I saw a lot of stars in the sky at night. If you want to take a rest in silent, I recommend here.

Summary: Beautiful pastoral setting. Guest room was comfortable with great bed. Wonderful decor in the breakfast room upstairs, and the food was great. Hosts were very engaging, sharing info on the neighborhood and the Roman wine-making process, which is their award-winning specialty. Nearby winery restaurant Quinta da Quetzal was amazing!

Summary: The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived later than we had told the host, but Pedro was waiting for us and appeared within seconds of us getting out of the car. He explained everything and even showed us how to work the shower (which is lovely). The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made preserves, was simple and perfect.
We had a little terrace with two chairs, overlooking the vineyard, where we would watch the sunset and stars. The only thing that could have improved the experience, would have been a small light table to put drinks on.
There was a complementary bottle of water and a bottle of the vineyards wine, which was a lovely touch.
If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place to be. Thank you Pedro.

Summary: This was an incredible stay in the Alentejo region. We were looking for something close to the Cucufate ruins and this was right next door. In addition the hosts were lovely, accommodating and gracious. We learned about the ancient winemaking techniques using amphora, tasted the wine and really enjoyed the peaceful site on the vineyard. The breakfast featured wonderful touches including preserves made from fruit grown on the property. The rooms were modern, very comfortable and extremely well appointed.

Summary: Great location for those with cars or bicycles. Hosts provided local information that was either historically fascinating or super useful. There is a 1,200 year old olive tree on the property, a special orange species in their grove (wonderful orange juice), and we experienced very many facets to their warm welcome in our 2 night stay. This included making a special bean dish for breakfast for a vegan.

Summary: Great stay! Patricia was very helpful and a wonderful host. Our favorite was watching the sunset over the vineyard from the patio hammocks.

Summary: This is a beautiful place for quiet, natural beauty and exploring a working vineyard. There are six rooms in the middle of the grapes - each room with it's own hammock. Patricia, the host, is delightful and provides homemade goodies with breakfast. If your idea of night life is watching stars, then this is your place!
