Welcome to our luxury, secluded villa in the heart of Portugal. Our aspirations, when we purchased this property, were to have a place were we could enjoy the superb climate away from the crowds in a totally unspoilt, beautiful environment.
The air conditioned villa has two double ensuite bedrooms. Downstairs the villa has a bedroom with two single beds, and a further shower room with WC. The villa's living area is large and open plan with a modern kitchen including a fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table has 8 chairs. There is a flat screen TV with sky reception and a DVD player. The sofa converts to a 3/4 sofa bed. There is a DVD and book library. Also, there is a cosy open fire for those winter evenings.
Outside there are many areas to enjoy the stunning views or laze by the pool. If you prefer something more energetic there is a volleyball/beach tennis court and a 10m x 5m freshwater swimming pool with the latest ultraviolet cleansing system. We also have a kayak for you to use in the lake near by.

Summary: We can highly recommend it. Lovely big house and the pool is great. Kids had the best time in the pool, playing badminton on the sand court and watching the neighbours goats. The adults could kick back and enjoy the beautiful and quiet surroundings. Everything you need is in the house, and you feel right at home. Tabua is lovely small town, local sunday market and bbq is not to be missed. We never found a good spot to jump in the lake/river but we didn't need to with the amazing pool there is. Do go and explore the hills, it's worth a hike. All in all, We loved it :-)
