In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.
The location:
Our property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children.
We, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.
