Summary: What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. The outside area was fabulous: the pool, the gardens, the views were wonderful. Natividade and her husband were great hosts, very amenable and kind. Her husband (sorry for forgetting your name!) was so lovely and brought us bananas, passion fruit, tomatoes, apples and more from the garden. For us, the icing on the cake was the balcony overlooking the valley. Walking out onto the balcony from the bedroom in the morning was breathtaking, the scent of the eucalyptus rising up on the morning air was so calming and awakening, we found it a perfect place to practise a little yoga! We have never done that in any holiday home!! The balcony was also a wonderful place to sit and chill late evening with a beer or glass of wine. Perfect! The small town of Sever do Vouga had everything we needed, 2 large supermarkets ( we used Pingo Doce), several patisseries and a couple of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Tempero Rustico, excellent food. Lovely location with some good walking and places to visit, a car is essential for this. Thank you to Natividade and husband for making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend.
