A spectacular 2 storey villa, within large landscaped gardens, with heated swimming pool and separate pool house. Sleeps 20 people in total.
Located a short (4km) drive from the beautiful Faro beach in an exclusive development close to the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Five minutes driving to Faro airport. Local amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops are close in Montenegro town.
Despite the properties close proximity to the airport it is not under the flight path so the house benefits from virtually no noise from the airport or aircraft.
Main house
Ground floor - has 1 kitchen with table for 12 people, 1 dining room with table for 12 people, 1 laundry room, 1 living room with TV, 2 bedrooms with en-suites with double bed, 1 bedroom with en-suite with 2 single beds and 2 more drawer beds, 1 social toilet with washbasin and toilet. It has 1 shed with 2 tables for 20 people and a snooker, 1 small shed with 1 table for 6 people and 1 charcoal barbecue. It has a small gym with bike and treadmill and a children's playground near the pool.
First floor - Master bedroom with double bed, en-suite large bathroom and connecting bedroom (accessed through the master bedroom) with 1 single bed and a pull out trundle bed, suitable for children. 2 double bedrooms, with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. 1 twin bedroom with 2 singles and en-suite bathroom.
Pool house
2 double bedroom with en-suite bathrooms.
Air conditioning throughout the property including all bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen.

Summary: The property was clean and well maintained for the most part. The rooms were clean and having a daily light cleaning service was a nice touch. The heated pool was a draw, but the weather was cool so we didn't use it much. We did not experience hot water in the main house during our stay. While the water would get lukewarm, once the host turned on the hot water heater, we did not ever experience having hot water in the house. Of note is that the beautiful ensuite off of master bedroom had the coolest of lukewarm water during our stay. This made the tub in that bathroom more for show. Unfortunate as that was one of the features I noted when booking the property.While the kitchen was well stocked, the appliances were not conducive for large groups (with the exception of 3 full-size fridges). OK if you are catering in your meals, but we had two chefs and other cooks in our group so we were prepping our own meals. For example, the oven and barbecue are very small and not great for meal prep for large groups. While the property was clean, the barbecue area was not. It did not look like the area had been serviced in some time.The internet was not working when we arrived, which the host corrected on the 3rd day of our stay. The non-functioning internet, broken lighting in one room and the water heater not being turned on or checked when the lack of hot water was pointed out, a walk-through may not have been done prior to our check-in.
